Perpetual Motion/Movimiento Perpetuo is a collaboration between award-winning artist Victor Cartagena from El Salvador, and Elisabeth Oppenheimer from Switzerland. They joined together to comment upon the immigrant experience, shifting across streets, borders and time zones. Feet in constant motion stream by the stranded old innertubes, suspended in time and space. Recorded voices echo the speed, confusion, alienation and complexities of the constantly changing landscape.
